The Dallas Cowboys head into their Thanksgiving game against the New York Giants, fresh off their first victory in over a month. On Sunday, they ended a five-game losing streak with a 34-26 victory over the Washington Commanders.

The Cowboys are not having a great season. Actually, that’s an understatement. They are experiencing one of their worst seasons in the last 10 years. They are 4-7 after Sunday’s win and in third place in the division with their playoff hopes all but dashed.

That being said, the Cowboys have been underdogs in most of their games this season, especially recently. However, heading into their Week 12 Thanksgiving game against the Giants, they are ultimately the favorites to win.

The Cowboys’ 7-5 win over the Commanders was one of the most surprising and craziest games we’ve seen in a long time, but it put Dallas back in the win columnalthough he is an underdog by around 10.5 points.

The Giants are having another disastrous season at 2-9 and sitting in last place in the NFC East. They just released quarterback Daniel Jones and said Tommy DeVito during their 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. After the game, several players called the effort “soft” and questioned the game plan.

A Dallas victory and the game against a failing team goes away the Cowboys as 3.5 point favorites against the Giants in the FanDuel Odds. Even though they are the home team, that doesn’t necessarily constitute an advantage for Dallas, who hasn’t won a home game since last regular season. They will look to end this five-game losing streak at home this Thursday.
